A stock location is a location within your business where stock will be tracked in Mobileezy.  This may be a warehouse, a van or alternatively this may be a virtual location that you would like to track stock levels in.

Every physical location that you want to track stock in will need to be setup as a location in Mobileezy.  If you are already using stock locations in MYOB, consider using the MYOB Enterprise Stock Integration.

Mobileezy default stock locations        Mobileezy default stock locations

There are 4 default locations in Mobileezy that are each used for a specific purpose these are.  These locations cannot be edited or deleted.  The table below explains what each of these locations is used for.

Used for recording ‘stock in transit’.  Stock can only be moved into and out of the transit location by using book out and book in transactions  Stocktakes cannot be performed on the transit location.

Factory

Used for bringing stock into Mobileezy where Mobileezy is the source of inventory data.  A stock adjustment from the Factory to any other location will create stock in the to location.  Stock cannot be moved into the Factory location and Stocktakes cannot be performed on this location.

Warehouse

The default location where all inventory is tracked unless other locations are created.  When connected to MYOB Premier using the MYOB Stock Integration, stock will be brought into this location.
