Run List on the Handheld

Recurring schedules created using the Territory Activity Event Editor and Territory Event Editor and visits created from Desktop Order Entry System are accessed on the handheld via the Run List. This is found under the Cards tab on the handheld.

The daily Run List can be viewed on the handheld from the Cards tab.  This runlist will display recurring scheduled visits and on-off visits created in the Desktop Administrator as well as any visits created using Desktop Order Entry System.

To view the runlist:

1.Logon to the Handheld and tap on the Cards tab.
2.The Run List button will be visible underneath the Sales History button.

3.Tap on the Run List button to view today's Run List for the handheld.

4.Tap on the Run List_Scroll Right button to view future days and the Run List_Scroll Leftto view previous days' Run List.

5.Tap on the Run List_ plus minus image to expand the display to show address details for the listed customers.

Changing the Run List View        Changing the Run List View

The Run List view on the handheld can be altered in two distinct ways:

1.Customer Order:  The order in which customers appear in list.
2.Territory Grouping: Whether the customers are grouped in their territories.

To change the view:

1.On the Handheld, go to the Run List screen
2.Tap the Android menu control to display menu options for the Run List display.

3.Select the desired view by tapping on the selection

The table below describes the effect of each of the options in the Run List view menu.

View

Description

By Priority

Sets the order of the customers in the Run List to be in the Priority order as defined under Routing > Customer Priority Manager. (Defaults to Off)

Unvisited First

Sets the order of the customers in the Run List to be unvisited customers first.  (Defaults to Off)

Visited First

Sets the order of the customers in the Run List to be visited customers first.  (Defaults to Off)

Group By Territory

Displays the name of the Territory above the Customers in the Run List. (Defaults to Off)

Viewing Visits Created from Desktop Order Entry System        Viewing Visits Created from Desktop Order Entry System

Visits created from the Desktop Order Entry System will appear in the handheld Run List for the user they are assigned to.  They will be listed on the date set in the Invoice Date field.

A visit created from Desktop Order Entry System will look the same as a recurring transaction, however when it is opened the order / invoice will already have been created with items included.

To view visits created in Desktop Order Entry System:

1.Logon to the Handheld
2.Go to the Cards tab and tap on the Run List button
3.The visits created in Desktop Order Entry System will be in the list.

Creating Sales from the Run List        Creating Sales from the Run List

A new sales transaction can be initiated directly from the run list in Mobileezy.  To this:

1.Tap on the Customer name in the Run List.
2.Select the New Sale button and follow the instruction for Sales Transactions (Creating a New Sale)
3.After completing the sale, the Mobileezy Handheld App will return to the Run List.  The sale you have just completed will now be marked with a tick in the checkbox.

Sales that have been created in Desktop Order Entry System and sent to the handheld will be prepopulated on the handheld device - they will be set to WIP status.  To complete such a transaction:

1.Tap on the customer name in the Run List.  This will take you directly into the partially completed sale.
2.Edit the sale as required by adding or deleting items, taking a payment, adding sale details and collecting a customer signature.
3.Change the sale status from WIP to Done and press OK.
4.This will return you to the Run List screen.

Sometimes you may wish to mark a customer off the Run List without creating an invoice or order transaction.  The Visit transaction type has been created for this purpose.

Creating a new sale with the sale type to Visit, will remove them from the Missed Visit Report but not create a transaction that would need to be handled in the Desktop Administrator.

In order to enable this, the Visit sales type must be selected in the User Profile, Sales Type tab.
