Using Reports

Reports are a useful way of seeing data held in the Mobileezy database.  There are 17  reports available in a standard Mobileezy installation which can be viewed from the Reports icon in the Desktop Administrator.   The standard set of reports includes sales, template, time billing and synchronisation reports.  These can be run at any time to review information about transactions completed using the handhelds and Desktop Order Entry System.  Additional reports become available when the Stock Module and Runlist Module are in use.

Reports are useful for viewing information about transactions completed in Mobileezy.

 

Running reports        How to run reports

To run a report:

1. From the Reports icon click on the tab with the report you are looking for (use the subtopics below to decide which tab).
2.Select the report by clicking on it to highlight the row.
3.Press the Display button or double click on the Right Arrow to open the report.
4.Set the report filters to filter the data for the information you require.
5.Press the Ok button to display the report in the Crystal Report Viewer.

Reports will run in the Crystal Report viewer - this will open in a separate window to display the report.  There are controls in the top left corner of the viewer that are used to export, print, scroll through, find text on the page and zoom .

Exporting reports to excel, word, pdf or xml format        Exporting reports to excel, word, pdf or xml format

Reports can be exported into excel, word, pdf and xml format.  This is done by:

1.Click on the export button
2.Select the format you would like to export to from the list:

3.Enter a file name and browse to a location on your computer, then press save.
4.Open the report using the program for the format you saved it in.

Template reports can be used to review changes made to customer templates.

Viewing total count of items for all templates in a territory. If customer templates define all orders for a customer this will calculate stock required for a territory run.

Time billing reports will display detail of activity slips raised in Mobileezy.  There are 2 time billing reports available.
