Setting the Customer Visit Order

The order that customers appear on the run list on both the handheld and the Routing reports is called the customer priority.  The customer priority is setup using the Customer Priority Manager which is found under the Routing icon.

Using the Customer Priority Manager, the customer order can be set only for customers within a selected territory.

The order that customers appear on the handheld, territory routing tab and Runlist by priority report is called the customer priority.

Under the Routing icon click on the Customer Priority Manager tab and then select the Territory that you want to sort the customers in.

Highlight the customer in the unsorted customers window and assign them across to the sorted customers window in the desired order using the Assign Before, Assign After and Unassign buttons.  If the customers are in the wrong order in the sorted customers window, use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to change their order in the list.

To select multiple customers at once hold down the Ctrl key.

To make the assignment of customers easy, the list can be resorted in the unsorted customers window by clicking on the column heading.  By doing this, you can put all the customers in a suburb or post code together and assign them in a group.

When the customer priority for a Territory has been set, scheduled visits for the customers will appear on the run list by priority report in the defined order.  Any scheduled visits for unsorted customers will appear on the report below the sorted customers.

Customers sorted for a Territory will also appear in the sorted order on the Mobileezy Handheld App.  By default the customer visits will be shown in their priority order.

Customers that have been assigned a priority in the Customer Priority Manager will appear in that assigned order in the Basic Routing window.  The customer priority will override any order created when customers are assigned using Basic Routing.

If the customers have no order assigned in Customer Priority Manager and their schedules have been setup using Basic Routing, the customers will appear on the handheld and routing report in the order that they have been assigned in the Basic Routing tab.
