Using barcode scanning can be a simple and efficient way to add items to orders/invoices, pick and pack stock and complete stock adjustments and stock takes.  Using product barcodes and a barcode scanner can also help to improve accuracy in each of these activities, especially when you have a large list of product lines (SKU's).  In order to use barcode scanning with Mobileezy you will need to have a device with an integrated barcode scanner (either Laser or 2D) and either enter all of the product barcodes into the Accounting System or produce your own barcodes using the item product code.

Using a handheld device with an integrated barcode scanner with Mobileezy will allow you to scan existing product barcodes.

Barcode scanning with EAN compliant Barcodes        Barcode Scanning with EAN Compliant Barcodes and the Item Properties Module

Mobileezy is capable of scanning EAN compliant barcodes and recording this data against transactions using the Item Properties Module module.  The EAN properties that can be recorded are:

Batch Number
Production Date
Due Date
Packaging Date
Serial Number
Best Before Date
Expiration Date

See more information on this in the Item Properties Module module.

Multiple barcodes for a single item with different units of measure        Multiple barcodes for a single item with different units of measure

Using the Advanced Barcoding & UOM Module you can setup multiple barcodes for a single product line with different units of measure.  This can be useful for the scanning of inner and outer barcodes when individual items come packaged in cartons - each with their own barcode.

See more information on this in the Advanced Barcoding & UOM Module.
